There’s always a doctor in this house. We’re qualified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases, like cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration; as well as pre and post-operative surgical care; specialty contact lenses; and primary eye care for all ages.

Dr. Jason Wong, Optometrist
Jason put on his first pair of glasses at the age of eight — what a difference it made. Everything came into focus. This experience led him to realize the importance of seeing clearly and inspired him to want to help others with their vision.

Jason holds degrees from UBC and Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Since 2004, he has proudly owned and operated West End Optometry.

Dr. Monisha Lal, Optometrist
When Monisha was considering her career path, her love for biology and interacting with people led her to optometry. Monisha remembers everyone’s names and stories, and it’s her signature love and care that fosters long-term relationships with the community. She takes pride in bringing the human care into medicine.

Monisha has an undergraduate degree from UBC and graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, OR.

Tiffany found her calling in optometry, fuelled by her passion for helping people and a curiosity for cutting-edge technology. She sees every conversation with her patients as a way to ensure that they have a shared vision of their journey.

Do you see what I see?
Well, not necessarily. Kids aren’t aware that normal isn’t supposed to be out of focus. Often, it takes early detection for successful corrective treatment. That’s why we highly recommend children have their first eye exam by the age of three. We feel that it’s important that their early experience with optometry is one of fun and comfort to encourage life‑long vision health.
